People\u2019s Bank Officers\u2019 Association conducted \u2018Abhinandana Pranama 2025\u2019, the academic excellence award ceremony, for the 23rd time at the People\u2019s Tower, Colombo 02, recently. The event focused on recognising the outstanding educational achievements of members\u2019 children and was held under the patronage of People\u2019s Bank Chairman, Prof. Narada Fernando, and Chief Executive Officer\/General Manager, Clive Fonseka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the ceremony, awards and certificates were presented to a large number of children who had demonstrated academic excellence by achieving outstanding results at the Grade 5, G.C.E. (O\/L), and G.C.E. (A\/L) examinations held in the year 2024.
Additionally, the \u2018Abhiman Gaurawa Sewa Upahara\u2019 programme, which paid tribute to retired senior members in the year 2024, was also held during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People\u2019s Bank Officers\u2019 Association President, Nalin Perera – Assistant General Manager (Retail Banking), Secretary, Chaminda Ihalakorala – Assistant General Manager (SME Development), and officials, together with current and retired members of the association as well as a large number of children, participated in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
