Commercial Bank of Ceylon and Hemas Holdings were&nbsp;adjudged&nbsp;the&nbsp;first and second runners-up respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual BCCS Awards&nbsp;are the premier corporate citizenship award and highlight&nbsp;sustainability champions&nbsp;in&nbsp;the national corporate arena.&nbsp;The Awards promote corporate citizen&nbsp;sustainability&nbsp;ownership, and initiatives that deliver social and environmental benefits while pursuing profits.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talawakelle&nbsp;Tea Estates walked away with the Category B \u2018Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award&nbsp;2025\u2019, awarded to companies with an annual turnover below Rs. 15&nbsp;billion, while&nbsp;Elpitiya&nbsp;Plantations&nbsp;and Kelani Valley Plantations&nbsp;were&nbsp;awarded as the respective&nbsp;first and second runners-up&nbsp;in this category.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top Ten Corporate Citizens<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Award&nbsp;recognises&nbsp;the&nbsp;top ten&nbsp;corporates which have implemented outstanding sustainability initiatives under both \u2018Category A &amp; B\u2019.&nbsp;CBL Investment Limited (CBL Group), Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company, Dipped Products, Elpitiya Plantations, Hatton National Bank, Haycarb, Hemas Holdings, Talawakelle Tea Estates, and Teejay Lanka&nbsp;were adjudged the Top Ten Corporate Citizens of 2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Projects Sustainability Awards 2025<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/fintechnews.lk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Winner-e1763615351747.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4837\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fintechnews.lk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Winner-e1763615351747.jpg 750w, https:\/\/fintechnews.lk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Winner-e1763615351747-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These Awards&nbsp;recognise the efforts of the private sector to engage in specific projects relating to key aspects of sustainability relevant to the organisation, and in response to contextual needs.&nbsp;The five&nbsp;projects awarded under this category are:&nbsp;CBL Foods International (Pvt.)
