BYD, together with its sole authorised distributor John Keells CG Auto (JKCG Auto), announced the official launch of the all-new BYD ATTO 1 and BYD ATTO 2 in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First presented to the public at the Colombo Motor Show from 21 to 23 November at the BMICH, the two models now join BYD\u2019s expanding New Energy vehicle (NEV) Sri Lankan portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Motor Show also featured BYD\u2019s wider portfolio, with models such as the SEALION 5, SEALION 6, SHARK 06, ATTO 3, DOLPHIN, SEAL and M6 on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full electric hatchback BYD ATTO 1 is built around BYD\u2019s Blade Battery and 8-in-1 electric powertrain, a combination engineered for efficiency, smooth acceleration and long-term durability. Its compact size and lightweight design make it practical for city travel, offering a driving range of 300km on a single charge. Features such as the 10.1-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, wireless charging and a six-airbag safety architecture reflect BYD\u2019s focus on bringing advanced technology into everyday use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the compact SUV BYD ATTO 2 builds on these foundations with BYD\u2019s CTB (Cell-to-Body) platform, which integrates the battery directly into the vehicle structure for improved rigidity, safety and handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform supports a more refined interior experience, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen, voice assistant, ventilated front seats and a wider set of driver-assistance features. Systems such as the 360-degree monitor, adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping support offer greater confidence on longer journeys and reflect BYD\u2019s emphasis on delivering intelligent, user-focused technology across its lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their introduction reflects the ongoing commitment of BYD and John Keells CG Auto to expand the country\u2019s NEV landscape with reliable, next-generation options.
