The launch of the official newspaper and online e-newspaper \u2018Rebuild Industries\u2019, published by the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development in collaboration with the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House), was held yesterday (18) at the Lake House Auditorium under the patronage of the Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Handunnetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch of \u2018Rebuild Industries\u2019 is another step in the ambitious programme being undertaken by the Ministry of Industries with the aim of achieving an export target of USD 36 billion by the year 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the event, Minister Handunnetti said the newspaper \u201cRebuild Industries\u201d provides a great opportunity to take entrepreneurship, which is centered in the Western Province, to other provinces in Sri Lanka and to integrate the capabilities of industrialists. He added that this is a great opportunity to lay a strong foundation for the transformation and change that has occurred in the industrial sector and to popularize entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch of the newspaper was also attended by Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Thilaka Jayasundara, Additional Secretaries, Director Generals, Heads of Institutions and other officials of the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, Chairman of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd Gamini Warushamana, Director Editorial Sisira Yapa and the Board of Directors, newspaper editors and officials.
